Youth Basketball League - Winter 2023

        Lincoln Youth Basketball is offered to all youth in the 1st through 8th grades with weekly practices and games on Saturdays. Lincoln Youth Basketball is for beginner and advanced players, so whether you are looking to learn and enjoy the game, or you are ready to take your skills to the next level, you’ll find your spot playing Lincoln Youth Basketball! Player evaluations will be held for all boys and girls 3rd grade and higher, followed by a draft.

 WAIT LISTS: Once the Age group your are registering for is full you will be prompted to enroll onto the waitlist.  When spots become available you will then be required to pay.

  • Player Evaluations: Player Evaluations are for all boys and girls divisions 3rd Grade and higher. Our goal is to make the most balanced teams as possible and all players will be required to attend player evaluations.
  • 3rd/4th Player Evaluations: BOYS: Monday, November 13th. 3rd Graders: 5:00pm. 4th Graders: 7:00pm. GIRLS: Wednesday, November 15th - 5:00pm
  • 5th/6th Player Evaluations: BOYS: Tuesday, November 14th. 5th Graders: 5:00pm. 6th Graders: 7:00pm GIRLS: Wednesday, November 15th - 7:00pm.
  • 7th/8th Grade Evaluations: Thursday, November 16th. Girls: 5:00pm Boys: 6:00pm
  • Player Evaluation Location: Evaluations will be held at the Lincoln Community Center (2010 First St.)
  • Fingerprinting: All Assistant and Head Coaches are required to pass a background check through the "City of Lincoln Recreation Dept."
  • Mandatory Coaches Meeting: Saturday, November 11th - 11:00am - Lincoln Community Center
  • Player Notification Deadline: Friday, December 1 by 8:00pm Team Request Changes will not be granted under any circumstances after 12/5
  • Practices: All practices begin the week of December 11th.
  • Games: Saturdays beginning January 6th - Ending February 24th.
  • Picture Day Info: TBD - February 4th - Lincoln Community Center
  • Player and Coach Requests: Player requests will ONLY be accepted for the 1st/2nd grade divisions. A Player Request Form MUST be completed and turned in.
