Flag Football - Fall - Fall 2025

Lincoln Recreation is excited for another season of Lincoln Youth Flag Football for all boys and girls in the 1st - 8th grades. LYFF is a non-contact, 5 on 5 league with practices twice a week and games scheduled for Saturday afternoons.  The FALL Season will feature a player combine followed by a player draft for 3rd - 8th Grade divisions.  1st/2nd grade teams will be randomly assigned.  Come out and join us for this exciting new Flag Football experience.

  • Location: All Flag Football practices will be held at McBean Park. Games will be held at Foskett Park on Saturdays.
  • Coaches Meeting & Clinic: Wednesday, August 13 - 6:30pm - Community Center
  • Player Evaluation Day: Saturday, August 16 at Foskett Park 3rd/4th: 11:00am / 5th/6th: 12:30pm / 7th/8th: 2:00pm *please arrive 15 mins early*
  • Player Draft - Coaches ONLY: 3rd/4th: Monday, August 18 at 6:00pm / 5th/6th: Tuesday, August 19 at 6:30pm / 7th/8th: Tuesday, August 19 at 7:45pm All drafts at the Community Center
  • Practices: Twice a week, beginning the week of August 25
  • Games: Saturday afternoons beginning September 6
  • Uniforms: All players will be issued a reversible jersey. Sample sizes are available at the Community Center office.
  • Mouth Guards: Mouth Guards are required for all players. You may pick one up at your local sporting goods store or buy one from us for $5.
  • Cleats: Cleats are recommended but not required. No cleats with metal spikes are allowed.
